Before

The original needed a lot of repairs, but the main difference is a partial colorization which is labor intensive editing.

The original picture at left was actually a label, not a photograph. The picture is equivalent to one in a newspaper or magazine. The finished picture speaks for itself.

Before

The original photo had been clipped too close at the top and bottom.  So we added to the photo at top and bottom to provide the balance it needed. We also fixed the crimp in the back of the prom dress, and brought back the original color to the dress. We selectively enhanced certain facial features, and sharpened the image. The final version was restored to its original glory.

This photo was actually a 'copy' of the original wedding photograph, so it was a little fuzzy to start with. The client wanted a photo of the lady on the far left, so that's what we did. We removed the gentlemen to her right, placed her in an oval, and did a partial colorization to accentuate her natural beauty.

This photo is an examples of picture that is so damaged that we would usually decline to work on it. But since it was for a dealer whose customer insisted that an effort be made at restoration, we agreed to try.

This photo was about 75% colorized, which really makes a difference.

This was a raw image from a digital camera. After some cropping, the two small purple tulips had to be removed, and the upper left corner filled in with green vegetation. Then we boosted the contrast on the tulips and blurred and darkened the background. We finished it off with some selective sharpening of the three gorgeous tulips.
